Getting Started
Setting up NGMA Bot is simple. This guide will walk you through inviting the bot, configuring permissions, and linking your Roblox group.
1. Invite the Bot
First, you need to invite the bot to your Discord server. Use the invite link provided by the bot owner or found on the homepage.
- Click the Add to Server button.
- Select your server from the dropdown list.
- Authorize the bot with the requested permissions (Administrator is recommended for full functionality).
2. Configure Permissions
Once the bot is in your server, head over to the Dashboard to set up staff access.
- Go to the Manage Server page.
- Navigate to the Permission Manager tab.
- Assign roles to specific categories like "Ticket Management" or "Moderation".
By default, Administrators have full access. You must explicitly grant access to other staff roles.
3. Link Roblox Group
To enable verification features, you need to link your Roblox Group ID.
/dashboard -> Settings -> General -> Roblox Group ID
Enter your numeric Group ID (found in your Roblox group URL) and click Save.
